Born From A Love Of Proper BBQ
Fatties started with a simple belief: great BBQ shouldn’t be complicated. Just quality meat, real coal, and the patience to cook it low and slow until it’s exactly right. Family owned and operated — every plate goes out like it’s for our own.
You’ll find us parked up outside Bombers Cafe on Brentwood Road, sending smoke across Grays every weekend. No frozen fillers, no baby portions — just honest, fresh, coal-fired food done the way it should be.

First time here today!! WOW!! They’ve really got it dialled in here. The food was amazing — first time ever having mac & cheese and it was so delicious, massive portion. The ribs were so tender, and the wings and fries perfect, not to mention the cowboy beans. 100% my new go-to food stop. Great friendly staff and the young lady even brought the food to my motor. Well done Fatties!!

The food is great — so much so that by the time we got there, after collecting my Dad, they’d sold out of the things we wanted. Despite this they made us a lovely meal which we ate in the cafe. Got the share box on Wednesday night and everything was bloody delicious — steak, chips, wings & beans (I don’t even like beans but these were lovely). Will defo be back to try more. It was all freshly cooked while I waited. Highly recommend this place, food is top notch!!
